  • MBA Third Round Chances

Every year I get the same question: is it worth applying in Round 3?.  And every year I see students get in and happily matriculate, so … why not? Fewer Spaces, Tired Application Readers Well, it is more competitive,  as admissions committee members from Tuck…

  • Do I apply to Business School in Round 3?

It’s the end the second-round cycle. Some of you got some great news about interview invitations and are busily practicing in front of the mirror. Or at a very least, you reviewing their essays and old blog posts that I and others have written about…

  • A Treasury of Waiting-For-the-MBA-Decision Strategies: What to expect when you are expecting

I am like all of you. I get nervous, distracted to the point of craziness while waiting for things. So my heart goes out to everyone who is waiting to hear from schools.  And the waiting comes in stages: first, you think you can ignore…

  • MBA Admissions: Third-round thoughts and how not to drive yourself crazy while waiting

What People Are Saying

I once told Betsy she is "amazeballs", well, because I believe she is. Betsy was both a mentor and a friend and helped me to continue to have faith in myself throughout the overwhelming process of MBA applications. She helped me explore my school options and put me in touch with people who could offer additional guidance. Because she took the time to really get to know me, Betsy helped me present my strongest self throughout my essays and was a large factor in my getting accepted to my top choice.

Betsy has a gift! Working with her I actually enjoyed the application process. I wouldn't have gotten in without Betsy's help.

Betsy! I miss you! Seriously, your lessons are relevant to every assignment and essay I have written in the last year. I owe you a debt of gratitude.

I would strongly suggest working with Betsy if you are looking for one-on-one attention, especially if you have a finance background or international experience. She took a very holistic approach to the process, was really interested in talking me through my highs and lows up to this point and true gut feel for why this school/why MBA. I did not have a very straightforward story (lay offs, international moves, liberal arts major with only ok GPA) and my GMAT was not stellar, but I feel that I was able to put my best foot forward in this cycle with Betsy's guidance.

Thank you for helping me put in the best application I could. And now I'm Hanover-bound --time to upgrade my winter wardrobe!
