  • MBA Deadlines for Round 2 Mostly Behind Us

It has been a crazy few weeks — application deadlines for the most popular application date “Round 2” have come and gone with one significant exception: Harvard Business School. Indeed, the flagship MBA program has offered potential candidates an extra two weeks beyond Stanford GSB,…

  • Application Tactics for the MBA

So much going on – coaching first-year students at Stanford Graduate School of Business on their Critical Analytic Thinking papers, advising applicants for Round 1 & 2, planning an essay-writing workshop for the Harvard Alumni Club. It’s exhilarating. So instead I will turn to my…

What People Are Saying

I once told Betsy she is "amazeballs", well, because I believe she is. Betsy was both a mentor and a friend and helped me to continue to have faith in myself throughout the overwhelming process of MBA applications. She helped me explore my school options and put me in touch with people who could offer additional guidance. Because she took the time to really get to know me, Betsy helped me present my strongest self throughout my essays and was a large factor in my getting accepted to my top choice.

Betsy has a gift! Working with her I actually enjoyed the application process. I wouldn't have gotten in without Betsy's help.

M Harvard Business School

Betsy! I miss you! Seriously, your lessons are relevant to every assignment and essay I have written in the last year. I owe you a debt of gratitude.

I would strongly suggest working with Betsy if you are looking for one-on-one attention, especially if you have a finance background or international experience. She took a very holistic approach to the process, was really interested in talking me through my highs and lows up to this point and true gut feel for why this school/why MBA. I did not have a very straightforward story (lay offs, international moves, liberal arts major with only ok GPA) and my GMAT was not stellar, but I feel that I was able to put my best foot forward in this cycle with Betsy's guidance.

Thank you for helping me put in the best application I could. And now I'm Hanover-bound --time to upgrade my winter wardrobe!
